Maybe your just car window tint is not for you anymore. You may be sick of the shadow, or color. Or maybe your hue began to drop or bubble. If, for any reason, you decide it is time to remove your window tint, you will find that the process is perhaps not as simple it seems. This is why you need a quick primer on the ins and outs of window tint removal. The following method can be used to remove the tint of your car.
You need the tools and supplies. A knife will be the main tool to remove the stain of window film. Get one with a wide blade. Then, you will need a few black garbage bags and large. Finally, make sure that you have a cloth, paper, steel wool pads towels, ammonia and glass cleaner side. Some people may opt out of pure ammonia to avoid the odor or fumes. It's beautiful, but make sure any cleaning using a ammonia as an active ingredient.
First, you'll need soften window tint film to make it easier to remove. Start by spraying from outside of the window with plenty of water. Then, take a bag garbage and use it to cover the surface of the window. Then get in the car and remove all the items in the window below. Then, use the cloth to cover the entire region in the window. This will protect the seat to be damaged by ammonia.
Spray inside the window with ammonia. Glasses and a mask to protect against fumes. This time, use a garbage bag to cover the window of the car as well. Garbage bags retain water and ammonia of evaporation while they do the job of softening of the dye window film. Now just sure that the window of your work on is under the direct light of the Sun, as the heat will play a crucial role to soften the film. If the Sun is not out, you can use the windshield of your car.
Once the solution has served long enough, use the knife slowly stripped away the window tinting film. Start at the corner and take then slowly off the film. Once the film has been removed, use steel wool to get rid of all parts that were left. Finally, clean the window with glass cleaner and paper napkins.
If you try to remove the tint of the Windows of your House, the process will be approximately the same with two major exceptions. You must use soapy water instead of ammonia, and garbage bags will not necessary.
