Use of the industry of the word "Carwash" Versus "Washing" considered

It seems to be some divergence in the car, where the carwashes the term "car wash" or "wash" is more appropriate washing, that is, is it alone Word or two words. OK, so, since I have been in the industry myself for almost 30 years before retirement, I would like to discuss with you a moment and give you my take on this controversy.

Interestingly, the term "Car wash" has been used since the beginning of the industry, but many people use "washing" online, and when they speak, so over the years, it seems to be / or both. Unfortunately, with "wash" also confuses those who are adamant on appropriate English, because it confuses the noun with the action of washing a car.

Nevertheless, I can say this, I have been instrumental in my career as a modification of English to use the term "wash" as a verb and a noun, and in hindsight, I rather than it this way. Now and then, during the major part of my career, I was on the mobile side of the industry.

In the mobile car washing industry, nobody uses the word "car wash" to describe their business, and almost everyone in the traditional location based carwashes uses "car wash" to describe their operations. This is why I used the medium term I have done, although I bet you could find half a dozen English Majors or professors in any given school would not agree with my take on this or the realities of change and evolution of the industry.

Therefore, this is why I think that I might disagree with English teachers, I changed the term over the years and I like my way better, also if you are looking for the word online search engines seem to draw companies and it does not seem to move the car very many websites type "action" of washing. The world has changed, it is time that all publishers, professors of English and public to get used to it and edit or run by the onslaught of the real users of the language and watch now, because here comes China with people speaking more English as a second language that the number of people in the United States. Then, the India is so we will all have to deal with that.

Reading on this word in Wikipedia, it immediately announced that the two uses of the Word are frequent and suggests either are perfectly acceptable. I tend to agree with it and would be present when talking about mobile business, you must always use two words to describe, and when talking to a fixed location, you must generally or especially use one-worded version, most in the industry, would agree. Indeed, I hope that this clears things for you, please consider this and think on it.
