If you are looking for a plastic scratch remover for your convertible top windows, boat or airplane windows, fiberglass toys like snowmobiles and jet skis, taillight lenses, acrylic mirrors, motorcycle windshields, and countless other plastic surfaces, than you have come to the right place!

The scientists at Novus introduced Novus Plastic Polishes way back in 1973. Since then Novus Plastic Polishes have been the best kept secret in the plastic polishing business for years. Their plastic scratch remover products can restore and clean your plastic or acrylic surfaces while bringing the luster back to new condition.

In addition to the uses mentioned above, their plastic scratch remover can be used on DVD's, video games, CD's, display cases, safety shields and goggles, gauges and instrument control panels, telephones, scanners, copiers, fax machines, fiberglass boats, appliances like microwave oven doors, plastic storm windows, skylights and the list goes on and on.

The Novus plastic scratch remover system consists of three parts. Depending on the depth and severity of the scratches in question, you might only need to employ step one which is Plastic Clean & Shine. Of course, deeper scratches will necessitate moving on to step two which is Fine Scratch Remover or even to step three which is Heavy Scratch Remover. You will only want to use the least aggressive step needed for the job at hand.

In step one, you will want to gently clean the surface with Novus #1, taking care not to scratch the surface any further. Use the product liberally with long sweeping strokes. Next apply more material using short circular strokes. Finally, buff the area with a clean micro fiber towel to reveal a beautiful finish.

Moving on to step two if needed, you will have already cleaned the area as described with Novus #1. Now be sure to test step 2 in an inconspicuous area before proceeding. Shake well and apply Novus#2 with a firm back and forth motion that is at right angles to the scratches. Just when you think you are done, reapply Novus #2, this time in a circular motion and allow to dry to a light haze. Finalize with buffing using a clean micro fiber towel, using short firm strokes.

If the scratches are too severe to be rendered clean, cleared and restored with Novus #2, then you will have to proceed to step three. To use Novus #3, start by following the procedure for Novus #1, then do the procedure for Novus #2, then use the same procedure as #2 to apply Novus #3. To achieve the best results, you should follow step #3 with Step #2 and then step #1 all over again so that the final project for the deepest scratches looks like this: Step#1 to Step#2 to Step#3 to Step#2 to Step#1.
